Today was pretty unproductive. Danny worked crazy hours and I was just so darn tired. We have had some friends stay with us till their apartment is ready to be moved into, and I've been enjoying the girl time with my friend Krystal. We painted our nails and talked about nothing and everything. Girl time is nice, yes?

While I was walking around the house pointlessly (I do that often) I noticed Sweetie, my ball of grey fluff, sitting on top of a speaker Danny has for his music and he instantly grabs the camera and goes to work, here is some of her best shots.

This beautiful girl is Lynx, she isn't as photogenic as Sweetie Bear. She is still just as beautiful.

Day One of Yard Day

Hello everyone out there in blog land ^_^. Here in Houston, Texas, everything is slowly heating up and getting ready for one hell of a summer. Am I ready? Erm....yes and no. This will be my first summer in my own place with my own back yard and I'm excited to fix it up, however, I don't know how much time I'll actually be spending out there...cuz ya know...that heat is something else lol. One blog that I have been really loving is Oh Dear Drea, and her blogs on her yard work is truly inspiring. So inspiring, I decided to start on my yard...well sort of..just see for yourself.

So this is my patio full of leaves and tires and other junk I don't need. I just want to clean this space up.

It's a nice size backyard and I'm missing some pictures of it because I have no clue how to work my camera *tears* however, I'll try to get some better pictures as I go along and clean and cut and plant and...whatever else I will do.

Day 1 Of Happy

So day one, I got myself in the mood by listen to this song, appropriately titled Happy lol. I really love this song. I'll admit, it took a while for it to grow on me, but eventually it grew and grew and I can't help but nod my head and clap to this...maybe even dance some when no one is home...I'd never admit that though lol.

"I'm Sorry BUT, We Have to Let You Go."

You never really expect to get fired. No mater how much you hate a job and talk trash like "they can fire me today. I don't care!!!" You never REALLY want them to fire you lol. Maybe we should stop talking smack. Well, good ole DirecTV decided to fire me from my work at home job. I'm so bummed out I can't figure out how to tie my shoes from the stress of not knowing how I'm gonna help Danny pay these bills. I know my faith is being tested more than ever right now. Just have to stay strong I suppose.

Hello Again!!

Hello whoever may be reading this right now! If you have had a look around, you would see that this space is...well...dead lol. I started this blog as a way to keep track of all my readings, however school and work got the best of me and slowly I lost time to read enough to keep an active blog. Now I've moved out with my boyfriend of 5 years (Some mother figure is going to give me a virtual whooping because of this) and I'm slowly learning what adult life is really like. Let me tell you, from a 21 year old's view, it's not fun!!

I need help guys, I need advice. I need friends. I need support! I'm reaching out to all of you and asking that if you have words of encouragement, please leave them for me. In the mean time, my blog will be my outlet. I want to share my aspects on life as I grow up more and more each day.

Long and Much needed Update!

Well so much has gone on in these past few months. I haven't been able to read much and I've been going through emotional issues with my choice of education. For those who read my blog in the past you know that its been strictly about books, well I have been thinking about converting it to a blog I do about books and my animals. I think being able to share a little more of myself with my readers would liven my blog up significantly. So two days ago, my boyfriend bought me two guinea pigs I named them Bullet(left) and Shell (right).

They are little bundles of joy when they aren't running from me lol. Right now I have them and a starter cage which quite frankly just isn't enough room. They should be in 7.5 sq foot cage, problem is, I don't have enough room in my room for that SOOOOO I'm gonna put them in my large closet. They would have more then enough room in there. All I need to get is a screen door so they would be safe from my demon cat, Aqua(the black fuzz ball).

Sure she may be cute, but she is pure EVIL!! Lol I love her though. Anyways so yea, a cat, two guinea pigs, and three loving dogs make up my animal family and I plan to incorporate them into my reading/ blogging world.
